If you have just arrived in the UK and are seeking employment then Austen Smythe will do our best to help you get started.
EU / UK Employment legislation requires that you have certain documentation, Please ensure that you have all the required documentation and are ready to actively look for work prior to sending us your CV.
You will be required to have the following documentation.
A valid Passport as proof of identity;
A Valid Work Permit or Visa that complies with UK employment legislation;
Work references that cover your past 5 years of employment or full contact details for each of your past employers covering the past 5 years, these should include an email address;
If you have been in full time education for the past or part of the past 5 years we will require certificates as proof of this.
Once you have been successful in registering with Austen Smythe and we successfully place you in an assignment, you will require a National Insurance Number and a UK Bank Account.

You will need proof of your UK address and your passport in order to open a bank account.
The Main 4 UK High Street Banks are HSBC, NatWest, Barclays and Lloyds TSB, although there are others you can approach.
You can start an assignment without a National Insurance Number, however you would ideally have already started this process or you would have to start this process immediately on accepting the assignment
You make your application to either your local Job Centre or to the Department of Work and Pensions
You will need Proof of your UK Address, proof of your Identity (Passport) and proof that you are actively seeking employment.
We will be able to provide you with documentary proof that you have been offered an assignment once you start your assignment with us.
